Maths …continuing with counting songs. Also matching, sorting and comparing.

This week we begin our Floppy’s Phonics programme. We are learning the sounds – s a t p Watch out for your phonics sheets and tiles to work with at home.

This week our focus story is The Little Red Hen.
Learning the story off by heart with actions.

Finding out ‘All About Me’.
What makes me special? What are my favourite things?
Thank you to everyone who has returned their All about Me booklets. If you still have one at home, please return it this week.
Understanding the World – (Topic Brilliant Buildings)
We will be learning about The Tower of London and The Crown Jewels.
Expressive Arts & Design
We will be building castles which we will need cardboard tubes for.
Please send these in during the week. In music we are continuing to explore emotions and feelings.

After travelling around different buildings last Friday, we are finding out all about castles this week.
We are carrying on with our Autumn theme too.
